Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Roll out the shortcrust pastry in a tart pan and prick the bottom with a fork.
  3. Cook the bacon in a pan until golden, then spread them over the pastry.
  4. In a bowl, beat the eggs, add the crème fraîche, milk, grated Gruyère cheese, salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg.
  5. Pour this mixture over the bacon.
  6. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until the quiche is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.
