
Quiche Lorrain

Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Roll out the shortcrust pastry in a tart pan and prick the bottom with a fork.
- Cook the bacon in a pan until golden, then spread them over the pastry.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs, add the crème fraîche, milk, grated Gruyère cheese, salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg.
- Pour this mixture over the bacon.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until the quiche is golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
